A Conjurer of whimsy

Hi! My name is Alexa Elizalde “el-iz-all-day” or “el-iz-al-dee” and I’m just a girl who loves to draw and is really good at her job. Here’s some fun facts about me;

• I was born and raised in Tempe, Arizona

• I have 2 cats, Tiny & Rigatoni

• I am a serious collector of My Little Pony (specifically Generation 1-3) and I have over 400 ponies in my collection

• I am proud of my Mexican heritage

• I have an associates in fine arts (2016, Mesa Community College) & a bachelors of science in entertainment design (2020, ArtCenter College of Design)

• I’ve been designing toys for going on 8 years and I’ve worked at Mattel, Hasbro, & Disney

• If I could do anything else in the world- I would be on Broadway auditioning for any lead soprano role

Personal Statement;

I have accepted the fact that I will never outgrow my love for cartoons, toys and video games. Luckily, I've also never outgrew my passion for creating art. That being said, I believe was built to create nostalgic memories and whimsical stories through diverse characters and lofty worlds. The same memories that were shaped from Saturday morning cartoons and my huge collection of magical unicorns will be the fuel to create that same halcyon feeling for all girls, decades to come.
