The Tempest
Theatre has always been one of my favorite forms of storytelling. It all started when I auditioned for Shakespeare’s The Tempest in high school and played the role of a gender-swapped Sebastian- then I knew the poem would stay with me forever. The point of difference from the original comedy is the time period/era, taking place in 1960’s Latin America- as well as taking inspiration from Julie Taymor’s adaptation in changing Prospero to Prospera.
Enjoy some visual development for this living personal project. It is ever-evolving, just like me.
